Only a two hour flight from Florida, or a three hour flight from Texas, Costa Rica is very close to the United States, but you will find yourself instantly immersed in the “Pura Vida” lifestyle that makes it so easy to forget about the hustle and bustle of your daily life back home.
Pura Vida means “Pure Life” or “Simple Life” and is the official motto of Costa Rica and reflects the culture’s affinity for nature and their happy, positive, and optimistic attitude.
The Club Pelagic private luxury resort is located in the quaint fishing town of Quepos on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast. We are strategically positioned just minutes away from two of Costa Rica’s most popular tourist attractions: Marina Pez Vela and Manuel Antonio National Park.
Marina Pez Vela is a world class yacht harbor with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops - including a PELAGIC brand store featuring a huge selection of limited edition Costa Rica inspired products. The marina is host to the world famous Rockstar Fishing Tournament, held each year in January, which is the largest and richest fishing tournament in Central America with a purse of over $500,000.
Manuel Antonio National Park is one of Costa Rica’s most popular wildlife sanctuaries, located where the rugged tropical rainforest meets white-sand beaches and coral reefs. It’s renowned for its vast diversity of tropical plants and wildlife, such as white-faced capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, three-toed sloths, and hundreds of exotic bird species like toucans and scarlet macaws. The park’s roughly 680 hectares are crossed with hiking trails, which meander from the coast up into the mountains.
