At CLUB PELAGIC we are proud to say that we have two of the finest charterboats in the entire country of Costa Rica, exclusively available for guests of Club Pelagic.  Our boats are professionally maintained, Pelagic branded, and feature only the finest in state of the art tackle and gear. Both boats are available to our guests anytime and are included in the package price.

Each and every detail of our fishing operations has been designed, tested, and proven to be highly effective in targeting a wide variety of gamefish species in the fertile and unspoiled waters of Costa Rica, giving you the best possible chance for the fishing trip of a lifetime.  

Our talented Captains and Crew have been fishing these exact waters for their entire lives, so you have the advantage of “local knowledge” combined with best-in-class, state of the art boats, tackle, and equipment.

While on the boat, you will be treated to gourmet meals prepared by our onboard chef, plus a full complement of snacks, bottle water, soda, beer, and cocktails.  Imagine catching ahi tuna in the morning and having it served as fresh sashimi on the boat a couple hours later?  Happens all the time at Club Pelagic!

Offshore Fishing aboard “PELAGIC”

“PELAGIC” is a 58 foot Garlington Custom Sportfishing Yacht

This is the world famous hull #3 built by Richard Garlington himself. This legendary yacht has fished all over the world, and is well known for her proven fish-catching ability and super smooth stable ride.  

PELAGIC is in pristine condition, with a complete refit in January 2020 that included the integration of gyro stabilization technology, all new live bait systems, and mezzanine seating with outdoor air conditioning vents.  The yacht features 3 staterooms, 2 heads, 2 showers, a large salon with plenty of seating, and a custom galley.  She cruises effortlessly across the ocean at 30 kts with 2,200 HP Caterpillar C18 engines.

Costa Rica’s prolific offshore fishing grounds offer the chance at catching three different species of marlin (blue, black, and striped), large numbers of pacific sailfish, and regular catches of tuna and dorado (mahi mahi) that often end up on your dinner plate within hours of being caught. 

The tackle on this boat is immaculate – with all brand new Shimano reels with custom PELAGIC rods that were specifically designed to fish the inshore and offshore waters of Costa Rica.

Whether you are a first time beginning angler, or a seasoned offshore veteran, you will appreciate the quality, comfort, and all the little details that have gone into this boat.

“ROCKSTAR” is a 32 foot Regulator Center Console

ROCKSTAR is a super fun, fast, and versatile boat that is ideal for both inshore and offshore fishing, PLUS snorkeling, cruising, spearfishing, surfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, whale watching, or whatever you want to do on the water.

 At the very core, ROCKSTAR is a high-performance fishing machine, locked and loaded with the finest arsenal of custom Pelagic rods, Shimano reels, and a proven track record of success fishing the waters of Costa Rica.  

The inshore waters just minutes from the marina are teeming with life, and the natural coastal landscape where the rainforest meets the sea makes a truly breathtaking background while fishing aboard “ROCKSTAR” – a 32 foot Regulator center console that has been specifically designed to fish these waters.
